Again, great service from gpsforless: ordered a GlobalSat BT receiver on Friday, got a 'phone call within about 2 minutes of clicking "submit" to ask if I wanted it sending that day to home (as there was a chance it might come on Saturday) or despatching for Monday delivery to my work address. Opted for the latter, the unit came Monday AM. Prompt replies to email enquiries before ordering as well. Recommended. |

Big thumbs up for GPS For Less from me too. The Brodit mount I ordered had to be returned as it was the wrong one (problem with the Brodit database) but the replacement arrived within a few days.
On both occasions when I phoned up, the phone was answered instantly (ARE YOU LISTENING HANDNAV!!) by a very friendly, helpful customer services lady.
Excellent customer service, and I will be using this company again. |

I agree that gpsforless ordering was very quick and efficient, however I have a duff gps receiver which other users on this forum are complaining about too, the purple grid k3(gp-27), I want to return it as faulty but their website says they are moving, the phone line has an answerphone on and I haven't had a response to e-mail, if you are there Craig & Tracy can you hurry up ? |

Yes I think it must be to do with their move I had an order in on the 12th although it was accepted I have not received or heard anything sinceand cant contact them. Although if they are moviing a little patience should be shown, from experience it is not an easy task for a small business to move lock stock and barrel to a new site. |

Well its now over a week since I placed my order. The money was charged to my card on the day of order then repaid to my card. I have been unable to contact them via phone, my emails have been unanswered. So I have had no way of knowing if they are still in existance, have any intentions of completing my order or not. So it is with regret I have emailed and cancelled my order and placed it with another supplier.
I know business moves can be difficult, I have moved my own business several times and been involved with many other business moves. Customers understand that supplies during these times can be difficult but there is no excuse for cutting lines of communication. Phones, fax and email can be switched between sites very quickly these days and so long as supplier stays in contact with customer the relationship and trust will continue. In my case they have made no contact to explain or give any kind of time frame for completion of order.
I have never dealt with this company before and only used them from the glowing reports on this site, they have obviously given good service in the past but I fear this poorly thought out move will not do their credibility much good at all. |
