Hi There,
What distance setting have you put on your warnings?
are they set only to detect on route?
What Camerea database are you using?
It may not be picking the camera up infront of you, especially if you can see the speed limit icon on the the camera in question (is the one you can see flashing with a red box around it?).
It might be picking one up you can't see off the map.
let me know what settings you are using. _________________ Thanks,

Hi there,
I think you are picking up a camera within the area you have set the tomtom,it could be on an adjacent road or something like that if you want to stop that go to your cameras and tick only on route.
But remember if your just driving without setting a route the tomtom willn't warn of cameras. think that is right if not will have slap for it |

From your description it sounds as if you have Enabled the Speed Cameras, but you have not set Warn When Near. _________________ Richard

hi all thanks 4 your replys
i downloaded 3.074 from here yesterday enabled all speed mobile red lights temp and specs then set warn at 500yards for the cameras and left on route unticked so when i driving towards the cameras thats on my route if i look close i can see a 40mph limit sign up ahead but when it sounds to warn me it turns in to a normal cam icon and flashes on top left as normal cam icon im using a ttg300 apps 5201 (5252/050628) os:908
gps v1.21 boot 2.18 gb map v562 out of the speed cam folder i used all the ov2 and bmp files from the ov2/bmp folder except the continental ov2/bmp then all the speed zoned ov2/bmp not the single file version is that right? also i just copy/paste the alternative bmp from the pearce folder over the bmp in the gb maps folder they show up on the browse map but still flash norm cam icon when i do a show route demo and they are speed zoned cams
thx karl |

Have you loaded too many files so that the cameras are in twice? You should have 17 .ov2 camera files for the full speed set. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Just re-read your post, and I think you have doubled the cameras.
You need all the speed zoned folder (7 gatso and 7 mobile) and only the specs, redlight and temp from the "ov2 bmp" folder. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Now that the problem is sorted..... 8)
You could put the two files back and set a different distance for those files. Then you would have two warnings for each camera. Say set the speed set at increasing distances with speed (e.g. 100 yds for 20 mph to 1000 yds for 70) and put the all in one set at 75 yds as a "final" warning. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
