Nope.. I have moved 'SdkRegistry' all over the place and it still doesn't work.

On the Palm, there is a 'TomTom' directory and under this a 'SdkFileCalls' folder.

I have put my 'SdkRegistry' folder under /TomTom and I can't really think where else it might go.

This is really strange.. If it wasn't mentioned in the 'code', then I would say that it was only a GO/PDA function.. But the fact that "something" is there, makes me think that there is a solution.

Its a shame that TomTom arn't willing to help!

A bit late in the day but I've just found this topic and hope I can get some help to get a decent menu out of it but I'm stuck trying to get a new menu to display. Does this look correct for Win PPC 2003 ?

The path = My Pocket PC\TomTom\SDKRegistry\TomTom.mnu

TomTom.mnu has no lead lines and only 1 return at the end and was created in Notepad.

I upgraded from TTN3 to 5 and there are 2 other folders uder My Pocket PC:
- tomtom which has files Current Map, data05.chk, data05.vif and Great_Britain-24a02c86.

- TomTom Navigator Settings and has Great_BritainNavigatorSettings and Navigator GlobalSettings

Thanks
Dave

Hey Jon,

My last-ditch attempt: Windows (all flavours) doesn't care too much if filenames are upper- or lowercase. Other OS'es like Linux, BSD and presumably PalmOS are pickier. Furthermore, different rules may apply to the file extension. (mnu, Mnu or MNU)

Have you tried "TomTom.mnu", "TomTom.MNU", "tomtom.mnu", tomtom.MNU" and "Tomtom.mnu"?

Just my Euro 0,02

Mike

Hi Mike,

I have tried all that.. But I can't be sure that I tried every variation.. I might give it a go.

The only thing is that in the 'code' it actually shows as 'TomTom.mnu'.. The fact that it has capital 'T's, makes me think that the correct syntax IS "TomTom.mnu".

I have got a lovely custom set of menus, but I cannot figure out how to add the button "Add POI" to my first page,

Has anyone managed this?

Richard

I've read all the threads in here & tried all the solutions but I can't get these new menus to work on TT5 using an O2XDAII.
I've put the SDKRegistry folder in the following places to try it.

SD Card\TomTom\SDKRegistry\TomTom.mnu - that doesn't work
My Device\My Documents\TomTom\SDKRegistry\TomTom.mnu - doesn't work either.

my TomTom.mnu file is shown below;
