I've got a Pacsafe 55 which I use to secure either my camera bag or laptop bag. Pacsafe really is top kit I would recommend it to anyone who wants to slow the scumbags down or maybe even stop them if you're lucky. _________________ TT700 - Memory Map 2004 - NavMan iPaq |

It's too bad that the TTG (and other sat nav systems) can't act as a tracker and report their location after they get nicked. _________________ Gone fishing! |

If I have to leave my go in the car (which is very rare - basically when I'm out the car for 10 mins or so) then I un-mount it a few streets away from where I'm going. I can then hide it in the floor compartment of my Renault Scenic when approching my destination. But when I do take it out, I actually make a point of showing anyone who may be watching me putting it in my pocket in an exagerated fashion!. I can't be bothered taking the mount off as well. Anyway I have power going to it and unless I unwired it the theifs could see the end of the power lead, so I'm not sure what use removing the mount would do? _________________ If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice ! |
