Same with most retailers at the moment.
Demand is far outstripping supply (just see the TTMobile forum) |

Demand for the Go's are rediculous, and being a retailer that sells them we cannot buy them from tomtom quick enough, last week i got 5 of each of the Go models and they sold within the day.
Dont expect to ring a retailer and ask them to keep one for you - cause they just wont!. _________________ TTG 720 with TT Home edition 2.0

I am no fan of PC World - only go there to look and then buy on net but not last time. They had an HP laptop not great spec but fine for wife for internet emails word and excel - even had 11g Wifi, 15" screen etc - advertised for £400 in Mail (wife's paper not mine).
Went into local store and did not have on display. Typical come on thinks I but I showed them ad and they didn't know much about it but went off and discovered they had 3 in stock they did not realise they had!! Had a look - well made and nice and light and slim for a cheapy - so bought it. On fleabay same ones are on buy it now for over £500.
So I traded with the devil - is my soul condemned forever? |

I don't normally shop in PC world as the nearest is 45 miles away, but I had a look round today and browsed the satnav systems. I have the TTN5 spec as in my sig, but asked a daft question about the Tomtom go 300, I don't know why I did it but I couldn't help it. I asked if it came with OS maps for hill walking, apparantly the go300 doesn't but the 500 and 700 does. So I rang my mate with a 700 while I was in the shop and accidentally put it on loud speaker as he asked me what idiot informed me of that.
Ok, I have confessed now, forgive me for taunting the staff, I won't do it again. _________________ o2 XDA Stellar
