There is no upgrade to the maps apart from upgrading to Navigon 5 via Navigon's web site, but I have done this and i'm very disappointed with the new product even after loading the update patch that has been released in the last few days for it, still very slow, poor menu's etc., I have reverted back to using the v4.2 as before.
You can use the guide on my web site for the Safety Cameras, but there is a one-off charge for the program of about 30 Euros, not by me but by the company that provides the POI-Warner utility, have a look, just click the link at the very bottom of this post. |

I have the medion md95000 and have just registered for POI Warner and awaiting registration code. Until then I clicked on your link for installing the poi edit v36 and installed using the instructions given on the AMN site. When I got to stage 5 it said that there were 6 files there when in actual fact I had 12 (6xbitmap images and 6 poi binairy) I dont know anything about computers or file names so just copied the lot and carried on with the instructions. When I pasted into the converted file I should of had 12 files which meant I had now 18? Everything seems to have gone in like instructed and like I said previous am just awaiting my activation code. The question now is did I do the right thing? Or will I have to uninstall and start again? I dread the thought. |

What it actually says at stage 5 is:
Quote: | While this folder is still open, you will see many files, carefully look for the 6 files called: |
You have copied the files with the .ov2 format as well, those don't need to be copied to your PDA, but they won't harm anything, you can delete them from your PDA if you want. |

So its still gonna work I gather? 6 of the files looked like red hands and the other six had a paintbrush on them (I clicked on one of them and it was just a weeny picture of a camera) Dohh... (told you i aint got a clue). Once I get my registration code from the site (paid by paypal) but hasnt arrived yet, will I need to get anything else as all I want is for my Medion to tell me where all the speed cameras are? Thanks for all your help and thanks a million for the good news. (pheww)
If those other files arent gonna harm my Medion I am just gonna leave them there. |

No, nothing else is required, but remember that the Safety Camera data is very good but not every camera is listed as they install new and move other cameras all the time, the little |
