More apps for your Go!

Hi folks,

Ok, just to let you know I've put some free apps for your Go on my site.

One in particular you may be interested in is the Qucikam Add - Tap the screen to get the menu, tap the icon and it adds your lat/lon street and city to an ov2 file called mycameras

I can't seem to find upgrade version 5.202 on the tomtom go web site? any ideas.

Sorry,

it's deliberate - I realised I needed to clarify with TT that I'm supposed to package up the new version of the TTG OS with my apps (5.202).

Just want to be sure so that if I do this then they wont send lawyers after me ;D

They don't seem to work quite correctly with go 300 so I assume they are for the classic only?

In theory it shouldn't make any difference. The apps have been tested on a Classic and a 700 - I don;t have access to a 500 or 300..

Hmm strange - the app that sets the timezone just has a number 2 on the screen with a + and a - at eiher side?? The show time app tells me it's the 18th January and is the totally wrong time if you press the save new speed camera button the TT locks up requiring removal of the SD card to restart it. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi ScaredyCat,

"Copy the SdkRegistry, skin and catapps folders to your Go. Copy the *contents* of copy_to_maps_folders to each of your map directories. If you have more than one set of maps installed copy them to each folder."

I do not see Sdk, skin, or catapps in the zip file and can you explain what you mean by copying all the contents?
