in the manual, it says the bottom bar in nav view should be the 'current location', but in use, it seems to show the 'next' road.
I don't mind so much,I just wonder if this is an error in the manual. This happened both in ttnav2.0 and the 2.22 upgrade which i just installed. |

In my experience, the bar at the bottom of the Navigator screen shows the current location with guidance off, and the details of the next road with guidance on.

I've notoced that in navigator view with no map (ie. with only the arrows and next driving instruction), it does show current road. I wrote to Tomtom & they confirmed this.
Hope this can be corrected.

Whilst the behaviour I described sounds wrong, it is arguably what you want. It took me a few days to get used to it, but it's probably far more use to know where you're going than where you are now (for example if you have GPS reception problems and you're trying to read road names - though this hasn't ever happened to me).
Arguably an option to configure whether it's 'current' road or 'next' road shown would be nice - though I'd hate to lose screen real-estate on more information that I really don't need.
