I have got this working now, following guidance from everyone.
Download this programme http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=8
Install CE Version
install it - get it talking to your PDA - once connected click on Tools/command/NMEA and change the following setting to reflect the setting below:
GGA 1 VTG 1
GLL 2 MSS 2
GSA 5
GSV 5
RMC 1
with all the User entries as 0.
Notice the baud rate and com NO. that it is connected too
Hit OK, completely exit and kill GPS Monitor
Open up TOM TOM then click on the satelllite signal bars to get to GPS status, now click configure and select Other Cable NMEA GPS, and select the com No. and baud rate that you noted from winfast navigator and bobs your uncle, fanny's your aunt it is now working.
If you do not understand what to do PM me amd I'll do it step by step for anyone who wants to get TOM TOM 5 fully working on medion MDPNA100 |
