If it is only giving you 5 digit postcode functionality, I am fairly sure that it cannot see the postcode database.
I found that when I installed TTN5 it put the folder "ZIP" which contains the post code data onto the root of the SD card. A colleague told me it should be on the root of the PDA instead. I moved it there and the 7 digit postcodes worked fine. |

Ifyou have put in the ZIP file as suggested, then when you go to naigate select Postcodes instead of city and you will get the full postcode functionality. |

If the ZIP folder is on a storage card then you also need a folder named TomTom on the card. There is no need to put anything in the TomTom folder.

I've tried all the listed solutions, but still can't use the full postcode function. I've looked on my card and PDA but can't find the ZIP file - any ideas where it might be? |

You have to install the zip file from CD 1
CD1\AddMaps\GreatBritain\GreatBritain Postcodes |

I found the ZIP folder and copied it to the My Documents folder on my PDA and ensured the was a folder called 'TomTom' there as well. Started up TTN5 and still the 3 digit postcode search. Moved the ZIP folder to my SD card and made sure there was a 'TomTom' folder there which was empty. Still no joy! Is there any way of just telling TTN5 where to look for the postcode data? I'm at the end of my tether! |

You will need to create a directory at the same level as the map directory. So depending on where your Map Directory is you would see the following -
Map Directory
tomtom
zip _________________ Richard

Are you using Navigate to.... Address then imputting Postcode
To get the full Postcodes you have to use
Navigate to....(then on the second page) Postcode
