Hi I have just received TTN2 and was really excited to have a trip round the block to see it working in all its glory. This was short lived though as even though I had a GPS accuracy of around 20 feet, TTN2 thought I was on a street a few hundred yards to the right of where I was travelling. The navigation was useless as it kept guessing incorrectly what road I was on and I kept driving through fields etc according to the map!
Any ideas? It is linked to a 3630 with 256MB compact flash in a jacket. I also noticed the same problem when I tried the theory of Sat Nav with Pocket Streets. However, if I use the Geko on its own, on foot it is extremely accurate.
Any ideas anyone - I was so excited to get this set up and its pretty dissapointing at the moment. _________________ TomTom Go 520, HTC Wildfire with CoPilot Live Premium UK & CoPilot Live Standard USA |

Hi
Make sure that you have the reference set to WGS84 and not OSGB etc. as this will throw you off depending on where you are in the country.

It's only normal used on handheld GPS's with a dispaly and would normal be found under settings.
On my Emap it is under "main menu - setup - advanced" along with the location format.
Hence if we set OSGB as the grid we need to set it as the refrence but this also efects the NMEA output and as all navigation software uses Lat/Long with WGS84 it will give an incorrect location.
