|
|
I have followed the instructions at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-poi-alerts.php for changing the sound files.
I replaced the DATA.CHK which was in the TomTom directory on the SD card. There was only this one file hre.
When I restarted I still only had the default sounds.
I therefore deleted the new DATA.CHK files and tried TomTom without this file here. I still had the default sounds!
The only other CHK files I have are in the Voices directory.
On the Pocket PC there is a file called DATA.CHK in Program Files\Navigator - should I try this?? |

Sounds like a good system Whazzzzupmate but by the time you've remembered whether a Mobile 60 is a cow or a bugle you'll be through it! :D |

It doesn't sound like a bugle if you have the modified data.chk file. Selecting bugle for a Mobile 60 camera alerts with 'Mobile 60'. _________________ Richard

I have one alert for the 5 catagories and use the bmp file to indicate the speed of a camera location, that way I can have various alerts, such as "hospital ahead", "petrol station ahead", "cashpoint ahead", etc. if I need them _________________ SW
