|
|
I have the PocketGPS camera database with TT5 and Have noticed a curious problem.
When approaching a camera Normally I see the speed icon (I.e 20 MPH sign) and this stays on the screen until past the camera but since the upgrade the icon appears for only a very short time before reverting to the standard speed camera icon. Not the end of the world admittedly but wondered if anyone else had the issue?. |

Hi swaino,
Are you using the standard full Gatso database in addition to the sub-category speed zoned databases?

Sounds like you have 2 POIs in the same place, one from each of the POI files, and TomTom is displaying the icon for one then the other...
Just a guess. _________________ Geraint

I suggest you either use the full database or you use the speed-zoned ones. _________________ Geraint

If you use both lots of poi safety camera files would you be able to set up warnings for both, so that you got first warning 800yds away from the poi camera and the second one 500yds away? |

I've not tried that myself. It's got tp be worth a try. You'd probably need to make the icons in both sets the same to get round the problem experienced by swaino. Also, not sure how TTN5 will handle the increased number of POIs that it's monitoring. _________________ Geraint
