Does Route 66 work with an MS smartphone (I have an i-mate SP3)?
I find it odd that people keep saying you can get European maps for TomTom. I have been trying for months and getting nowhere. I love the product, but their customer service is hopeless.
I need a map of France and am torn between having to pay for another TTM5 with the maps, or try a different product. There seemed to be some stuff about Destinator too - but there isn't a mobile phone forum here for that, so I'm pretty wary. |

Route 66 only works with Symbian based mobile phones, and not Microsoft based phones. |

if you need european maps for i mate phone there is something called dstinator sp which will work only on microsoft based phones
i have purchased tt m 5 from tom tom but have been trying to get euro maps
i cant buy a legal set of maps anywhere
so i resorted to destinator sp for smart phone if you have a bt reciever then the maps will cost £99 for all of western europe which you load thru your pc to the phone
i have found destinator to work well but some of the directions are a bit different to how tt speaks
i am going to use destinator in europe next week and i will see if it works
i have planned the route and stored it just need to see if it works

Which MS smartphone do you have?
Destinator SP is a good alternative to TTM, but also consider ALK Co-Pilot which also has Euro maps available (and there's a forum for it to put your mind at rest :D )
