You install the Postal File from CD 1
CD1/Add Maps/Great Britian Postal Codes |

Thanks TuurG ... you are my super-hero for today
Anyone else struggling then ... open File Exporer and then look at the Storage Card contents. From a clean hard reboot install the folders in mine now are as follows, and Postcode's work perfectly:
Great_Britain-Map
postcodes
TOMTOM (NOTE - this is just a blank/empty folder called TOMTOM!)

Sorry if I'm being thick here. I can't get the navigate to postcode working either - it comes up with the same 5 digit system as TT3. I have a TomTom folder at the top level of my storage card (or hard drive as I am using a Palm LifeDrive) which contains the voice files, setup.dat etc. Do I need ANOTHER Tomtom folder? If so, how do I do so when there is already one with that name? |

I'm having exactly the same problems as you, Weelogic, with the postcodes on a Palm device (A Tapwave Zodiac actually)
I have tried everything suggested on these forums to no avail, is there any special trick for Palm ones?
I have the Tomtom folder and the Zip folder both on the root of the SD card, but it still doesn't work. The TomTom folder *has* to be there on Palm devices anyway otherwise it will not work at all.
Any suggestions? |

skweek,
On the advice of linknet, I created a Zip folder at root level of my card and copied (too scared to move...) the files in the TomTom Great_Britainpostal Map folder to it. It worked a treat. |

What files?
In the zip folder I have the Great_Britain.Postal file.
Could you do me a favour and tell me what the layout of you card is?
Thanks

skweek,
At the top (root) level of my card I have a Tomtom folder, a Tomtom Great_Britain Map folder, a Tomtom Great_Britainpostal Map folder and now a Zip folder. I copied the Great_Britain.Postal file from the 3rd folder listed to the Zip folder and all worked fine.
