I have recently downloaded the 5158_data.chk file for the Speed Camera POI warnings.
However, when I try to set a warning distance, then select the "bell" my TTG 300 locks up for about 10 seconds then switches off and back on again.
Am I doing something obviously wrong?
Does the file go in the main folder or the Voices folder?
Does the name of the file remain the same or does it have to be renamed data.chk after renaming the original data.chk file?
I have read the instructions for installing but fin them a bit misleading.
Any help would be most appreciated. |

all i do is delete the data.chk file from the tomtom card, and replace with the new file, 5158_data.chk, then rename this to data.chk
i should back up the file first, but never do |

It goes in the Root Directory (Folder) - not in the one with the maps - nor in any other sub-directory for that matter.
The new file must be renamed to data.chk - having first renamed or deleted the old one. Otherwise, you won't have a data.chk file at all - which is probably why it goes ape! _________________ Roger
