|
|
I have used both TomTom2 and SmartST for some time without problems, only now the iPaq has "lost it's voice" --> no more voice guidance -
other problems have sound and iPaq online test result was OK
I have tried reinstalling both programs to correct the problem, only to make it worse: no more GPS at all...
starting from scratch again I got this error message
Quote: | The file
“\Windows\AppMgr\Install\TomTomNavigator Voice.CAB” is not a valid Windows CE Setup file
|
(and in SmartST I got a message saying I needed the "source .CAB" - since I just bought the upgrade TT5 I won't be using SmartST anymore, but I add this for completeness..)
can anyone help me out? |

copy the CAB file to the Pocket PC (via ActiveSync Explore) and then find it on the Pocket PC and tap it (with Pocket File Explorer). That will start the installation, and then remove the CAB file. _________________ Lutz

sorry about this, but your answer raised another question... where can I get the CAB file to copy?
