|
|
Can someone please enlighten me?! Just occasionally, when trying to access this forum, I get a message which says:
"Our database server seems to have lost its Satellite Fix
Please bear with us while it locks onto the GPS Satellites we should back shortly."
For the life of me I can't imagine why the ability to access a database of messages should have anything to do with being locked onto a GPS satellite. Am I missing something? _________________ Roger

A sense of humour indeed. The MySQL message was boring. Mind you, this one has the word be missing, but it will hopefully be corrected soon. _________________ Tim |

Ah - I actually have a very good sense of humour. I guess that my mistake was in not attributing PocketGPSWorld with one!

Yup, we're guilty of a poor attempt at wit there! That message replaced the default MySQL Database error message.
Ihadn't noticed that in our attempts to aquire humour we had instead lost a grip of basic english though!! We'll get that fixed ;) _________________ Darren Griffin |
