I have reciently updated the Rom image on my Ipaq via HP's website.
Yesterday when my TomTom upgrade arrived I did a full reset of the device and formatted my SD card, then installed TomTom. I have made the following notes/errors during this process.
1) Not able to register online. Error: page not found
2) TomTom switches off the blue tooth radio on exit. The work around this is to clear the route before exiting the software
Apart from these two minor issues I am very happy with the upgrade. Both software and maps are excellent. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

I find on my hx4700, that when I exit the program, it becomes unresponsive for upto 3 minutes.
And the 2d navigation screen is completely unuseable!! - The program zooms out far too much for the VGA screen.
Other than that, I like TT5 :D |

I am using GPSGate and that way TTN5 does not know you are using a BT receiver as it says it is a serial device. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

On my 4700, the dockware screensaver activates when navigator is running. I did not have this problem with TT3. |

I also noticed that is you click the minus (zoom out) key 3 times in the 2d mode, the application exits! |

I had the same problem, but I realised I had just updated to the latest ROM image from HP (1.10 - which fixes mostly wireless problems). _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

When dockware starts, hold the stylus on the screen until the menu appears, then untick the start automatically setting. |
