I've played about with a work colleagues Tom Tom Navigator 5 (Mitac Mio 168) which he leant me last night.
For all the anticipation I have to say its a disapointment, the scrolling is as jerky as TTN3. The menu buttons are not configurable (e.g. I want to hide buttons like traffic and weather which I will never use), the compass is not as nice or elegant as the 4-sphere N-W-S-E. And the inbuilt POI warner is not directional (it will warn you of cameras on the opposite carriageway).
There have been improvements in the route planning, especially alternative routes and the fact that you can now look for POIs near your destination. But overall I would have to say Tom Tom 5 3/5 |

See note below re scrolling. You need a faster SD card....or PDA. Scrolling is in the region of 5fps on my 4150 but only on the faster SD card. |

You're making an assumption there. I've asked my colleague and he told me its a genuine copy of the program. Never the less is there a way I can find out? because as it it stands I am inclined to stick with TTN3 as I am not overly impressed with what I've seen so far.
