|
|
I have a PPC 250 which has been behaving faultlessly for about a year. :D
However, when I turned in on to navigate back home from France (naturally) to my surprise the screen was upside down and offset. 8O
Unfortunately, the touch screen did not follow and now I cannot even get past the password as I can't find the right spots to hit, and the pauses get longer every time.
Can anyone guess what may have caused this to happen, and can I do anything to get it back without destroying it?
Thanks in advance.... _________________ Medion MDPPC250 - 05/04 with Aldi GPS pack!

Sorry, I should have said...
Done that - several times. also tried removing the battery for a long time to no avail.
I have so much new info in it after a month away from syncing with the PC that I really don't want to hard reset it if it can be avoided.

You should still be able to connect with active sync, dl all your info and then hard reset. If your info is on the storage card you could use any digi camera to dl to your computer. |

Here is a followup to anyone that may be interested.
I tried Soft and Hard resets to no avail.
I tried leaving the battery out for 24 hours -nothing.
As a last resort, I left the battery out four five days and when inserted...
It seems to be working fine again.
I have lost everything except the OS - Lets hope the backup was good :D _________________ Medion MDPPC250 - 05/04 with Aldi GPS pack!

if it comes back, it may be a dry jont on the screen ribbon cable connections.
found the problem on a ipaq 3630 the other day. |
