Anyone know if there are any maps of Greece/Greek Islands available for my 2210 from any of the commercially available napping software companies? _________________ O2 Orbit 2 - WM6.1

Having read articles for the Olympic Games in Greece there are mentions of maps covering the entire country of Greece and a navigational guide to historic sites—all supplied by globally known e-map vendor Destinator. The sat nav in the article (MIO168) was created specifically for the Chinese Taipei Olympic team but it is possible that the greek maps are available somewhere otherwise it's a bit of a waste.
If you like you can read the article and try searching for further info.
It is also possible that maps of Greece will be made available through the TomTom PLUS service. _________________ Ian.

The only affordable and adequate software for Greece is destinator but with ngi maps. i 've tried mn5, route66 and they offer only a map of Athens with no pois at all. Destinator covers almost whole Greece with more than 17000 pois. I don't know if the dealer in your country can provide you the ngi map because the navteq map is crap. Ngi is a Greek company and have taken great care in this project. Yuo could take destinator3 with the ngi map at their site, with rest of Europe which is navteq , at about 150 Euros. But it is agreek site. All Greeks speak English though and you could either translate their page on Google or phone them at 003 21 0 6974600.Their web page is www.destinator.gr. I am sure it's the only s/w adequate for Greece and you want regret it if you bought it. :P :P |

How do you order it? The order forms seems to imply they only ship within Greece. I emailed them but got no reply. Anybody have any luck in purchasing this software? |
