Has anyone successfully gotten TT2004 to start on a Navman PiN100 (Mio 168)? Every time I start it the PiN freezes. It never gets to the program. For kicks, I installed the program on my 2215 with a Holux mouse GPS and it starts fine and gets to the activations screen. But I'd rather activate it on my PiN if I can get it working. I've been trying suggestions from the "Navigator-BT-Dummy guide" posted elsewhere on this site but with no sucess. Any suggestions?

The latest downloadable version is supposed to work better on the Mio 168. Just be aware, however, that TomTom Navigator 4 officially does NOT run with any receiver that's not COM1 or Bluetooth.

I don't see any updates for TT2004 for the PocketPC on their website (US English). Palm yes, PocketPC no. I have gotten closer by experimenting with the demo version of GPSGate 1.10. The program now seems to be sort of running in the background but I can't get it to respond to anything other than tapping on the bottom bar of the today screen. Doing so adjusts the volume. There is TomTom audio but no visual indication that I'm doing anything with the program. |
