Hi.
I have iPAQ 3950, BluePAQ of TDK and Emtac BTGPS. With TTN2 he works perfectly, but with OziCE (38400 baud, Sentence GPRMC and Port COM 6) it continuously appears the message "busy" in the box where it indicates the reception of satellites.
Why?
Thanks (sorry, my english is made in Google). |

Not sure why, but I would step down to 4800 baud, the Emtac/Socket prefers this under NMEA in-fact most GPS Receivers do unless you switch to SiRF in which case you're looking at 38400 or 57600 but that then negates GPRMC as that's NMEA. |

I have tested from 4800 to 57600 and the problem is not solved. In Sirf way it happens the same.
I have read the following thing:
* "Busy" (white text on blue or green) indicates the software has not finished processing the previous NMEA sentence and a new one has arrived, the new sentence is not processed.
I will prove to install everything again (to see if I have luck).
Thanks Dave. |

This normally happens when you have a lot of track and route data showing on the display. Ozi seems to have problems redrawing on occasion. You may also have very large and detailed maps, which when combined with all the other factors can slow the system down.
That being said I would not expect to see this on a 3950. You might want to check to see if you have the latest BluePak drivers. I do not see this happening with my 3870 and Emtac BTGPS. _________________ Mike Barrett |

I have the latest BluePAQ drivers (v1.28 firmware upgrade to support iPAQ 3900 series).
In my Microdrive IBM 512 Mb I have a folder with several maps with a total of 120 Mb, very large and detailed.
Following your advice I have created a new folder where I have stored a single map and I have formed ozi so that it only read that. Then, has worked correctly.
The problem has been probably the amount of maps. But with my previous gps (Navman 3400) it had it equal and never that error took place.
I will continue proving.
Thanks by the aid, Mike.
