hi all, i know this has been mentioned a lot of times, but there are a lot of conflicting ideas, i just would like to know if i can safely change the chime when approaching safety cameras for the voice warning? i know it can be done, by replacing the cosmicl.wav, but some people are saying after changing the wav file, they can no longer get voice guidance on route? please could someone clarify a foolproof way of doing this, i do not want to loose voice guidance?
many thanks...... |

Some people have claimed to have used an alternative sound without affecting the voice guidance. Maybe they will give details here?
I think the best bet at the moment is to make do with the default 'chime'.
With the number of users wishing to change the sound, hopefully at some point in the not too distant future the developers at Navman will include the ability to choose your own into the software. _________________ Ian.

The file on a 510 is default.wav but apparently the voice files are not for the 510. It causes problems. _________________ Richard
