Hi Chaps!
Dont know if anyone can help me with this one...
Just bought a Tomtom go 300 - i am going to the continent next week and then again late june , while there im intending to do a lot of driving.
I understand that tomtom dont have european maps for the Go 300 yet?
or , with the old verson of "tomtom go maps for western europe" work?
and , does spain cover the balearics (Majorca , Ibiza , Minorca)?
Thanks very much for any help with this!

I'm also on the look out for the new maps (mainly for France)
Unfortunately Tomtom haven't released the new maps for the 300 yet, they say the new maps will be released at the end of May but there is no official release date.
I asked Tomtom about using the old maps of western Europe with the 300 and they said that they won't work.
Alll they say if 'keep an eye on our website' |

When I last contacted Tomtom they said the maps would be released at the end of May but could be released sooner....
The price seems good from Amazon, when Tomtom had them on their website they were priced at 189 Euro's / £135. |

Amazon says dispatching soon - but to be fair I only ordered it a few days before it was released - they might have dispatched their stock as it looks like it was popular. - and i couldn't find any in the shops last week _________________ J. |

Looks like we are all in Tomtoms hands here! .. I needed the french maps for next weekend , spoke to a couple of 'dedicated' satnav retailers yesterday and they said that contrary to tomtom saying that the old maps dont work with the new G300 - they actually do!
Bit of a dilema now , can get hold of the old western europe maps - but will i be wasting my time? |

Several people on this link bought them when they were going cheap at ebuyer, but not one of them has managed to get them to work.

Tomtom had the new maps advertised on their website for a while but now they've been removed, maybe they are updating the site and come next week they'll be on there for sale.......(we can dream)
There seems to be a heck of a lot of people waiting for these maps |
