Route disapeared

I have a Jornada 540 and TomTom Navigator 3. All was ok for about a year, yesterday the planned red route disapeared, the voice directions are still working and so is the map but no route. Can anyone help please.

Just one of the quirk's with mobile computing, setting's changing themselves for no apparent reason. If you go to the Properties screen, and click on the advanced tab, scroll down and make sure you have "Route indicator follows table" checked, and lower under "Route", from the drop down box choose "Dashed in foreground".
