Does anyone know if existing POI's will remain on the SD after installing version 5?
Thanks,

As a precaution I removed the Europe map from my 256 card before upgrading to version 5. I have lots of POI's already installed and all of them are alive and well. Checking the used space on the SD card reveals that there is still 8mb of free space remaining. With the cost of memory cards at rock bottom it makes sense to copy TTG's soft ware to a larger card and to keep the original 128mb card as a backup. |

How do I make a back up of my personal POI's?
I had about 150 and deleted them by mistake DER! so I want to periodically back them up to a folder on my computer.
Can anyone help please? |

POI-files have the ending *.ov2 and a corresponding *.bmp
Example:
POI's for McDonalds...
McDonalds.ov2
McDonalds.bmp
You will find the files on your memorycard in the folder for your map.
Just copy them and paste them into an backup-folder on your PC. _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |
