I noticed it ages ago but thought I would see if you know about it. When the redlight cameras get spotted on your TomTom as usual you get the Camera pop up in the Top Left Corner but the Lights are White, Yellow, Green shown but the Camera on the Map is fine at Red, Yellow, Green. |

Been discussed before.
TomTom have changed the colour pallete more than once on different hardware and software versions. Suggest you try re-downloading the .bmps from the site and installing those, as they were "tweaked" when the x10 range came out.
Or (blatent plug!) try mine... ............
Download:-
ZIP Archive of full set (25 files)
(Be interested to see if they still look OK on latest systems). |

Nice ones Andy. I'll give them a try to compare visibility I think. Suggestion - could you put "TEMP" under the temp one (as with the other non-Gatsos) please?
Oh and PS - dump the Mobile Variable on account of how it's a sort of check error "camera", not a camera. _________________ Dennis

Could do...
IMHO I'd prefer it if they dumped the whole "temp" section. I don't see why they are treated differently.
Most temp cameras now have a speed attached (and arguably, their speed is more impotrant to know than that of a fixed site) so I think they should be merged into the main speed-zoned Gatso sections. Can't be difficult to achieve, I'd have thought. |

When I suggested/queried speed for temps, I got a (very mild) slap on the wrist
"at temp sites, speed limit signs are larger than normal and not great distances travelled, so you should be able to manage with just Temp"
so I crawled back into my grandad chair with slippers.
BUT I STILL AGREE WITH YOU about putting the speed on them but I wouldn't do away with the category. _________________ Dennis

I will have another look at the icon later, although when they were changed the red lens in the traffic light was altered to the revised colour depth - this has been mentioned before IIRC about 6 months ago!
As for temp cameras I prefer a full speed zoned set-up so I split the temp file up with POIEdit - it takes a bit of time but isn't too difficult - Mike |

Mike, IIRC you sent me a revised BMP when I had this problem sometime back. |

When you get to my age, you'll have to ration the time you give to things or you'll expire before your lifetime membership. _________________ Dennis
