Not quite sure but I am assuming a corrupt file. The updates just overwrote the existing files so in the end, I deleted the whole directory that I use when updating, downloaded ...

I have renamed both gpi files so now I have eucams and ukcams still only 1 custom poi listing in settings but I am getting cameras showing up both in the UK and France so all appears well.
