I have a Dell Axim X5, with 512mb SD, TT5 and wired GPS. I'm planning a bike trip to spain next year.... Yippee ! ! !
Question, i can only fit 2 countries on the 512mb SD card, rather than buy a 1GB ...

Yes the PDA does show charging...the GPS (emap) doesnt lose a signal at all, its satellite status shows a good spread all the time.

Right I've sorted it....

for reference:

The emap needs to be set to interface type "GARMIN" or "NMEA"

Make sure the output "datum" is hddmm.mm (mine was set to OS map standard)
