I have a genuine TomTom wired receiver which seems to suffer badly in hot weather, and a Globalsat BT-338 which seems to be fine whatever the weather.

Finally after a week of pi**ing about with V5 I have reverted back to V3. At least until the various bugs are sorted anyway.

If you have another SD card, then I suppose there will be no harm in trying it. If it is locked to original card just go back to that card.

I'm not sure if TomTom somehow lock the software to the original SD card, I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong but it should just be a case of copying the entire contents of your origina ... |
