further update, er embarrased maybe, but I ran the Tom Tom Application for go 520/720 update 22.6MB and after rebooting the device my 4GB card is now read from HOME. Loaded loads of mp3 (500MB worth) ...

I don't suppose anyone could do a Betty Boop one could they ?
