| when you do an monthly update do you delete the previous download off the smartcard or does it simply overwrite? |

ok..i now obtained a back up and a 256mb card...i still have the same problem????!!?!?!?!?!?!
only this time it onbly locks up when it says it cant detect a gps device...still for about 5 seconds.

| bit of a hijack this but - i have a glitch with ttnn on my sd card...and i didnt back it up..as i didnt buy it direct from tomtom....got it from buybits.com....the tt backup has been non existent :c ... |

still not resolved this glitch...although tried a re-install...hard restart etc...i didnt back up the sd card before upgrading off the tomtom site..and there support is useless  this is a legit ... |

try deleteing tomtom softreset then reinstall 5.2
tried this also...i think the tomtom site upgrade overwrote whats on the SD card...like a fool i didnt back up the card before installing  |
