I've only had my GPS System for a week (2210 iPAQ + Fortuna Clip-On +TTN2) but I've driven fairly extensively in London (including the City) in that time and I've not lost a signal yet.

I had the same concerns about TomTom Navigator after looking at the demo on their website.

I was finally convinced after a colleague at work demonstrated it working.
