I am assuming you are using SatSYNC v 1.4
If this is the case click settings, then messages and unclick the bottom box about always showing the upgrade message.  |

Not 100% sure but I was told by one retailer that the margins on Satmap was not as great as some other GPS manufacturers.
Could this be the reason for the advice given  |

Depends on your vehicle but if it happens to be a Land Rover Defender the cycle mount as sold works a treat threaded through the screen ventilation slots. |
