i spend a lot of time in ontario canada... can anyone tell me which would be the best to use for that area out of metroguide canada V4 or North america V7?

look closer... you do have a memory card slot. Its tiny! as it takes micro SD cards which are reallt small!

just a quick question, i think i read somewhere that if you use the i3 with a SD Card with more than 512mb capacity, it will slow the unit right down.

Say for example i was doing a europ ...

ok thanks rodtrotter... i am probably wrong!! its just confusing as i have metroguide canada V4 and that works fine on my streetpilot after downloading maps directly onto the SD card through an SD car ...

yes i have tried those things... but neither make any difference. Plus you cant load maps from your PC to an SD card through the street pilot. I have unlocked the maps cos i am able to select regions ...

i heard that you can autoroute with metroguide canada... its in another thread somewhere. they say that its one of the only metroguides where you can auto route and get directions.

so basically what your saying is once the satelite has found your current location... the street pilot will select the correct map from the unit or memory card automatically? Question

ok so i have worked out that i am going to buy metroguide canada and then download the maps to a memory card. can anyone now advise me on a UK vendor that sells metroguide canada for a decent price?
