Thanks Pete/Hogbreath, it was my list of 35 POI's causing the refresh issues!!
I deleted them all from the Great-Britian map folder and whatdyaknow it works a treat!!! Shame I didn't realise earlie ... |

Unfortunately renaming the folder didn't work. I do indeed have TTN5 and I store the maps on the root of my SD card.
