Thank you for the swift response. From your answer I understand that working in NMEA mode is limited to 4800. Sirf will allow working in higher speed.

The default baud rate is 4800. I tried to change it to higher speed and it stopped working. Is there a way to change to higher speed when working with PDA to improve response time and performance?

I am not sure this is the answer you were looking for but...
I was able to active both trickle mode or WAAS/EGNOS but only after the start GPS. Hope this help you
