Right well 4.2.00 is for S60 2nd edition so I'm not sure that will work on my 3rd edition E65 :S
Anyway, 5.0.30 came out which apparently improves battery drain and comes with faster redraw...so I' ... |

GarminXT version 5.00.20.
The phone itself is fully up-to-date and I haven't changed any underlying software other than GarminXT. |

My garminxt mobile does - whenever I enter or leave the congestion zone it even alerts me that I'm entering toll zone. However, don't just rely on the device, the boundaries are well marked with signs ... |

just a note of warning, I upgraded XT from 4.2 to 5.0.
5 looks nicer but has quite a few quirks with respect to routing.
When I select 'shortest' it sends me 'off-road'.

I have been using POIloader to load test POIs and alerts onto my GarminXT.
I use the software and it all seems to work fine on the POI loader end.

can you use the maps offline??
I know smart2go requires network usage unless you download the maps before....hopefully telmap will have an offline capability. |

I guess it is safer to have this than have to constantly tap the screen. Especially since it is less fiddly than a tomtom remote.
