I downloaded a map of UK and Spain from the Co Pilot anto my lap-top hard drive.
Where do I copy it on to my mobile so that Co Pilot knows where to look for it?

My Co-Pilot works OK - the satellite is working and as I drive the "map" seems to move and POI's are displayed.
BUT there is no detail on the map - ie ROADS !

Make a directory on your storage card, call it Postcode or something.
Copy UKpostcode.exe and UKpostcode.dat to the folder on the storage card.

Well, someone will need to confirm that the XDA IIs indeed has a COM port, and if it is maybe COM2 . Worst case you may have to get a BT GPS receiver...

Thanks. I have now downloaded latest Tom Tom Nav and the GPS icon is now where it should be although it comes up with error 'cannot open Com1. Port does not exist'.
