If you only are likely to use Great Britain itself, then the map takes up 108M plus 9M for the postcode database.
Major Roads of Europe takes up more than that, and each European Country takes more ... |

what is your SD card (make, size, and speed rating), and what it it formated to (FAT16 or 32... what size clusters?). Do you have loads of POIs displayed? - if so, turn them off.
