I have fixed the problem now by closing down WinFast Navigator whereas before I still had the program running in the background. Many thanks

I exit-ed WinFast Navigator by clicking the X in the top-right hand corner. I presumed that this closes it. Please tell me if im wrong and if so how I do close it.

i would try removing winfast from your machine and try tt5 again on its own.if it works but does not show signal strenght try the r3 firmware update

Many thanks for the advice Phillip....but still not having any success. I do appear to be running 'Winfast Navigator' but it is in a folder called 'CE Monitor'!!

Anyway, I am getting a reading/fix ...

Thanks Bary, found that now. But........

Not clear what to select there to get the Long/Latitude reading.Also not sure what you mean by "the correct datum as well as the display format"
