CA is putting up a grey box top left with a digit in it. Touching it gives a second one to the right. Does not seem to do anything.

I clicked on the URL in the email which claims to be the latest which according to the calander should be today - 12th - But you get last weeks - 5th. :-( |

Thanks for the testing, but 3.3 definitely does not zoom without a route as speed changes. :-( |

I thought it might have got broken in 3.3. Having said that, I don't recall it ever working on 3.2 either. |

Sorry, not with you there. With mine. it works fine with a route and the 3D view. But with no route it starts zoomed out and stays there whatever speed I do.

According to the help pane, smart zoom ought to work regardless of having a route active. Has anyone seen it actually work with no route? |

The answer is certainly "no" - it isn't available as a *legally* implemented product for PNA devices. There are, of course, various hacks.
Navngo have no plans to provide any of their PDA product ... |
