tt3 BT GPS question

Hi there - looks like a brtilliant site that has enabled me to become the proud owner of a new TT3 Bluetooth receiver and stuff. I didn;t get a car kit, because the reviews I have read show this nifty cradle with a doubled ended charging cable. However, the car kits I have seen do not show this cradle at all - is it needed?

Secondly, the little cover on the side appears to fall off easily - what have you guys done - not worry about it?

Finally (phew) I have an XDA2 - any suggestions on mounting?

Thanks a lot - thought I would try a supersized post first time around!

As you are using a BT receiver you do not need a serial connection for the XDA.

I am currently using a Brodit Active mount. Supplies power as well as holding the PDA. Check out our accessory pages by clicking here

After much debate i bought the brodit kit for the xdaII - at a cost though (ouch!)

The only bad thing i can say about it is it didn't have the option to charge the gps receiver at the same time so i had to buy another charger lead and a 3-way cigar lighter converter - it would have been nice to have another lead coming out to charge it via the same connection.
