Ipaq 2210 + BC-307 CF. Complete noobie,

Just got my GPS receiver and plugged it in.

Using the GPS info utility provided. Loads of junk text is coming up but it hasn't got a lock yet and it's been 5 minutes or something. Is this because it's new and it's being used for the first time? It has come up with the UTC which seems right.

Also, any tips for using this with an app called GPS tuner v3 ?

Gah, no edit button :-) BTW it's branded DConnex and I got it off Ebay.

I'm not very impressed with the GPS technology. Maybe it'll grow on me, just seems a bit inaccurate.

it can take a while to get a fix initially (like 30-45 mins)
