I just wondered if someone might sumarise the differences of Tomtom from version 2.24 up to 3.03?

Is there a big difference? Tbh, I'm perfectly happy with 2.24, is it worth moving on up?

Thanks for any help.

(If this has been discussed already, feel free to just give me the link Smile )

Read the review of Navigator 3 for your answer - as to carry out this upgrade, you'll have to purchase an upgrade kit from TomTom. You can't use 3.03 with your existing maps or product code.

Personally, I believe Navigator 3 is a worthwhile successor to Navigator 2 - the maps are more up to date, and a couple of the worst frustrations with earlier builds of Navigator 3 (address lookup problems, and missing places) are solved in version 3.03.

It's worth remembering that TomTom only leave their upgrade deals open for something like six months. If you don't upgrade within that period, you have no option but to buy a later version at full price if you want to upgrade. The way things have gone this far, you could upgrade twice for around the same cost as buying a new copy of Navigator.

Note that you only have to pay one upgrade fee for all your Navigator 2 products - so long as they're all different. This means that you only have to pay once to upgrade both Navigator 2 Great Britain and Navigator 2 Maps of Western Europe, for example.
