|
|
Hi folks,
I have recently had to reset my Moto G due to problems and noticed I was not getting alerts from unverified cameras I had input. I evrntually found the correct box to tick.
I did notice other settings I had missed and wonder which items I should tick for start up messages. Under " On start up also run" what do I tick and what does it do?
Cheers

The 'On startup' does what it says. It starts another program whilst starting CA. So if you have a nav program, you can automatically start that as well as CA. |

Thanks M8TJT,
I only have PGPSW so does that mean I can select " None"?
I have it as selecting Camera Alert at the moment.
Cheers

Am I missing something here? I am assuming the you are talking about the 'On startup also run' advanced menu option in CamerAlert?
The above option will start any other app on your device. There is no 'None' Option, but there is a 'Nothing' Option. Unless you actually want another app to start when CA starts, set it to 'Nothing'.
If you are not talking about that, then I don't know anything about your Moto G so can't help. Please clarify. |

Yes that is correct. "On start-up also run".
It was set to nothing but I thought it perhaps should be set to start Camera Alert.
I found the option when I was trying to find why I was not getting warnings of the three camera sites in my area which are still not verified in spite of being heavily used as trap points for almost two years. They caught 74 locals in a period of a few months when the limit was wrongly, in the opinion of many locals, lowered from 60 to 30 in almost open countryside.
I eventually found - probably after factory re-sets to the Moto G trying to fix a problem - that the option to warn of non-verified sites was not ticked.
Thanks for your help.
