3590LMT Routing issues - Help needed please

Hi

I have just changed from a TomTom 530 to Garmin 3590LMT.

Have updated to latest firmware and maps but having problems with the routes the device is sending me.

Have it set to fastest route and traffic trends enabled.

The routes it is sending me is not the fastest route as i can turn off the route the device is sending me and the arrival time will decrease 1 or 2 mins which leads me to belive im going onto a faster route.

I have also looked at the same route on google maps and tomtom route map and they are the same but garmin does not and is 2 mins or more longer alos tried at different times of the day.

Had the device just over a week and bit disappointed with it.

If anyone can help, be much appreciated.

Advice I've read elsehwere is to turn off Traffic trends, so you might try that.

Have tried to disable traffic trends but didnt really make much difference.

I have now returned the device back to tesco and will revert back to my old TomTom.
