Do you have overspeed warnings turned on?
The Upcoming, Updated CamerAlert Manual wrote: | Long speed limit popup
If you have ‘Overspeed warnings’ turned on (i.e. not set to ‘None’) then you will see a speed limit pop up on top of whatever app you are using at the time. Tick the box to show this for 3 seconds instead of 1. |

1 Overspeed Warning is on Silence
2 Long popup already on 3 secs
I am of the mind to uninstall and start again.
Is it that the pop up only comes on depending on the camera distance set...mine are all set around 10 secs ? In other words a steady 100 mph up the M1 slould have the pop up coming on continuously ? |

It might be the short warning time you have set.
Can you increase it to, say, 30 seconds and see if it comes up? I think the 'big red circle' overspeed pop up only gets triggered if you've been over the speed limit for a few seconds first.
Also, can you select a sound for overspeed warnings so we can see if those are being played - they should work together (speed and sound at same time) so it'd be useful to check that you ARE being detected as 'over speed'.

I think you may be right.......if the time to camera is too short, then the pop up doesn't have enough time to 'pop up' so to speak....it only works in conjunction with the camera distance/timing....it would be of more use to me if it 'popped up', say 5, 10, or 15 seconds prior to the camera set up...perhaps in the next release it could be user selectable ? Thanks again for your input. |
